This place blew my mind! It's massive, perfect for big groups or families. Plus, there's an open fire and central heating, how cool is that? The garden is adorable with a chill-out area. The owner is super friendly and slowly giving the place a modern upgrade. The shower was amazing and everything we needed was there, even if some things were a bit outdated. It was so clean, cozy, and homely. Naomi, the owner, was responsive and there were no issues. The location is central and perfect for exploring. Can't wait to go back!

It's perfect for large groups or families. And get this, they even have an open fire for those cozy nights in, as well as central heating. The cute little garden and sitting area were just perfect for soaking in the scenery. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who is slowly upgrading and modernizing the place - so exciting! The shower was fantastic, and despite needing a bit of updating, this cottage had everything we needed. We surely felt like VIPs with all the amenities, like the free wi-fi, free parking, electric kettle, cookware/kitchen utensils, and even a flat-screen TV. Wanna know the best part? They have an awesome VIP check-in/check-out service - talk about feeling special! We also enjoyed the nearby hiking trails and the outdoor dining area was a dream. And for families, there's a fantastic children's play area and board games to keep everyone entertained. Oh, did I mention that they allow pets? Our stay at the Lake District Cottage was wonderful. The cottage itself was spacious and perfect for our large group. We loved having both an open fire and central heating to keep us warm and cozy. The shower was great, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The owner was friendly and in the process of upgrading and modernizing the cottage. The location was also very central, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. we had a fantastic time and would definitely come back again.
While there were a couple of drawbacks, such as the smaller TV and some cleanliness issues, they were minor and didn't bother us too much. We understand that the cottage had recently been purchased and that improvements were still being made.
